The other day I was browsing the cosmetics section inside Target and ended up picking up a few elf products I thought could add a little something to my makeup collection. I've never tried the brand elf but was attracted to the price and now I'm a fan! These are some of the products I've been using & loving.
Moisturizing Lipstick // Cheeky // $3
Cheeky is the perfect color for spring because it's a modest pink with a slight coral undertone
but who says you really have to wear certain colors during certain seasons.
The dark vampy lip has been a cold month classic for awhile so I've been hitting
winter with a softer look. The formulation of this lipstick is gorgeous.
It doesn't feel heavy on the lip and has a slight satin finish.
Studio Blush // Mellow Mauve // $3
Completely in love with this blush color. It's a little darker than my idea of a classic
pink blush so I feel like it brings a little edge to the cheeks.
It's subtle for the day time but the color is buildable for a little more "umph" in the evening.
I can't get over the $1 part! This weird looking brush works best when I want to achieve
a smudged smokey eye look or bring some depth throughout my under eye.
After washing it for the first time I did notice a few of the bristles shedding
but for a dollar I'm not even mad about it. elf brushes are great for someone who wants
to play with different shapes of brushes before investing in a more expensive brand.
So glad I stumbled across these products!
